And yet the show itself has never been nominated for Outstanding Drama Series.

The most likely genre series to benefit from this trend, however, seems to be Amazon PrimesFallout.

This year, Apple TV+ feels like trying to take over the Emmy narrative by sheer numerical domination.

Its not every day that Colin Farrell headlines a TV series, which putsSugarinto play.

But if youre thinking that hardly any of these shows previously listed feel like traditional Emmy bait … exactly.

(Note forShogunfans: yours is a limited series and wont be competing in the drama categories.)

The results will be strange… but potentially very exciting.
