He also tells Lisa that everyone is kicking him when hes down and taking advantage.
Scheana lays out the same course of action later in the episode.
Tom cant see what theyre saying in either case.
He says hes apologized, and his friends say he doesnt mean it.
Instead of considering it an apology, think of it as a meal.
They keep asking for food, and Tom keeps shouting, But I fed you!

I dont know, maybe at least an appetizer.
While I would like to think that Lisas motives are entirely altruistic, they are also economic.
The pattern we see with Tom and Lisa is the same one weve seen with Tom throughout.
He accuses Lisa of attacking him when she asks difficult questions and asks him to take responsibility.
Tom thinks he should be forgiven because hes suffered so much.
(No one wants to see that happen, Tom, is Scheanas perfect response.)
