Then he approaches the whole group, minus Sandoval, sitting outside.

This isnt going to be the chink in the groups armor that allows him back into the fold.

Finally, Schwartz tells Ariana, Dont speak on behalf of the group.

Youre not the queen of the group.

Oh, Schwartzy, but she is!

That has as much to do with their wallets as their hearts.

Right now, Arianaisthe queen of the group.

Being on Arianas side is not only right, but its also profitable.

Arianas stance on Sandoval, while totally correct, may not make sense for her in the long run.

And … who was that girl they tried to thrust on us?

When Tom cheated on Kristen, no one cared because she was just as horrible as him.

Here, he cheated onthe only nice one.

This shows the limits of what we can expect from our reality show.

But theyre on a show.

But that is not going to happen.

Does that mean we dont have a show?

I dont know, but the one thing I can tell you is that this situation is untenable.

Reality shows, in essence, are conservative.

Scandoval broke that mold, but Lisa Vanderpump, the producer, cant keep up with it.

Shes still trying to right the good ship Vanderpump and failing miserably.

(Ive always said the show is at its best when Lisa is at her least meddlesome.)

First, she tries to get Tom out of the house hes sharing with Ariana.

But he says it is a great house and doesnt want to give it up.

Just sell it and get out of there both of you.

He brings up an interview Scheana did with some guy named Captain Nemo who was having sex with Raquel.

Sorry, but I never got to the bottom of TikTok to see those clips.

He also tells Lisa that everyone is kicking him when hes down and taking advantage.

Scheana lays out the same course of action later in the episode.

Tom cant see what theyre saying in either case.

He says hes apologized, and his friends say he doesnt mean it.

Instead of considering it an apology, think of it as a meal.

They keep asking for food, and Tom keeps shouting, But I fed you!

What more do you want?

I dont know, maybe at least an appetizer.

While I would like to think that Lisas motives are entirely altruistic, they are also economic.

The pattern we see with Tom and Lisa is the same one weve seen with Tom throughout.

He accuses Lisa of attacking him when she asks difficult questions and asks him to take responsibility.

Tom thinks he should be forgiven because hes suffered so much.

(No one wants to see that happen, Tom, is Scheanas perfect response.)

Shes reviewing Toms email and he keeps getting GCal invitations.
