The app was taken off the U.S. Google and Apple app stores Saturday night.
Then Sunday morning, Trump effectively reversed the ban via Truth Social statement.
TikTok then released their own statement on Twitter.
In agreement with our service providers, TikTok is in the process of restoring service.
Its a strong stand for the First Amendment and against arbitrary censorship.
We will work with President Trump on a long-term solution that keeps TikTok in the United States.
Software updates also cant happen, and in-app purchases are severely hobbled.
