Is that one accent coachon YouTubeabout to be out of a job?
Heres everything to know about the use of AI inThe Brutalist, including howdirector Brady Corbetandstar Adrien Brodyhave responded.
How did this start?
We first tried to ADR these harder elements with the actors.
Then we tried to ADR them completely with other actors but that just didnt work.
So we looked for other options of how to enhance it.
Was anything else done with AI inThe Brutalist?
Why AI?
Before AI, movies had a different tool for getting accents down pat: AH (acting harder).
Even Brody, who has a Hungarian mother, apparently needed the robo-Hungarians to step in.
Its an extremely unique language.

How has Corbet responded?
The director issued a statement toDeadline.
Adrien and Felicitys performances are completely their own, it reads.
They worked for months with dialect coach Tanera Marshall to perfect their accents.
No English language was changed.
This was a manual process, done by our sound team and Respeecher in post-production.
How has Brody responded?
Obviously, [Corbets] postproduction process only touched some lines spoken in Hungarian, the actor said.
We all worked incredibly hard on it, and we all know that.
