All reality shows should feel like a ritual.
The same parts are in the same places every time.
There is a familiarity that draws you both into the show and yourself.
Wow, Operation: Italy sure turned out to have some excellent gameplay.
However, in this situation, Im kind of torn.
As soon as the decision is made, Teeny is hopping mad.
Heres the thing about Teeny: I love her.
While she is enormously likable, shes a terrible player.
If Genevieves biggest flaw is playing too cold, Teenys is playing far too emotionally.
Its way too early for the edit to reveal whose torch is getting snuffed.
However, I must admit, I was on Teenys side when Sam made those choices.
It turns out both Teeny and I were dead wrong.
Sam didnt need a SITD because he had Andy.
Sorry, Sue, but at least she still has an idol to keep her company at night.
What I never understood about the plan is why they had to split.
We see Rachel bring this up.
even when he wasnt about to betray all of his closest allies.
What was great about this episode is that it allowed us to follow a plan from conception to finish.
We saw every step, every conference, every way that it could have gone wrong.
How many crazy plans have we followed on this show that come to absolutely nothing?
What I also loved is that it was old-schoolSurvivorat its best.
There werent any advantages bandied about, even though Rachel could have played her Steal a Vote.
This was just lying, manipulation, paranoia, and some excellent gameplay coming together.
Going into Tribal, I had no idea what to think.
We saw so much of the plan that it had to work, right?
No, but some of these women are such good players theyll know something is up, right?
Sues going to save the day with her idol, right?
Genevieves fake was really good enough to sway them, right?
I was going back and forth more than an oscillating fan in a tornado.
When they sat down at Tribal, I didnt want to listen to any of it.
Just get to the vote!
I want to see what happens!
What if I miss something?
What is that look Teeny and Caroline are giving each other?
This season just went from good to great; too bad my girl Caroline had to pay the price.
