Now Sony has officially announced the release date of the PSVR2.

It will go on sale as early asFebruary 22.

Prices for the Virtual Reality Headsets will be$549.99in theUS,599.99inEurope,529.99in theUK, and74,980inJapan.

Pre-orders will begin on the PlayStation website on November 15.

However, pre-orders will be available in the U.S., U.K., France, and Germany.

Games, including Horizon Call of the Mountain, will also be available for pre-order later this month.

The PSVR2 is a huge upgrade over the first version of the PSVR.

They will feature an OLED screen, a 110-degree field view, and 4K HDR support.

It also supports up to 120Hz for smoother frame rates and gameplay.

Also, the good news is that PSVR2 will finally get its Sense controllers.

Weve also added a built-in vent for extra airflow and a lens adjustment dial for more customization.

The downside to this facet is that it wont support games released for the PSVR 1 version.

The company has already announced several games that will be available on PSVR2.

Also, VR versions of Resident Evil 8, Resident Evil 4, and No Mans Sky are coming.

VR versions of Star Wars and The Walking Dead games are also planned.
