Today Microsoft announced that Skype would soon get a new look for the mobile version of the app.
I think everyone has heard of Skype.
Its a long-standing messaging and video-calling service that has been popular since before the era of remote working.

However, as Microsoft Teams has gained popularity, Skype has not recently received many updates or improvements.
It only received a partial redesign in August 2021 over the past few years.
Now the mobile apps are getting another update with more focus on colors.
However, thats not all of the changes.
And best of all, you dont need a subscription for all of this!
Microsoft also reported that the update should start rolling out soon if it hasnt already.
