Its the quick payoff of Pauls warning last week about the bad shit he saw coming.

But it does take care of some necessary housekeeping, including getting Jimmy and Gaby back on friendly terms.

But how long will it be before Gaby grants Courtney permission to have a life of her own again?

Jimmy even gets guilted into a matching tat of Tias initials.

But thats only one of the ways Jimmys actions have fucked up Lizs month.

Even if Jimmy isnt personally responsible, everything seems to come back to him.

Of course, hes completely correct in attempting to point out Lizs culpability in all this.

Many of Lizs problems are her own fault, and she knows it.

Its also just good to see Jimmy and Liz sharing scenes again, even if theyre bickering as usual.

They were one of the strongest character duos of season one.

What if something similar somehow happened with Brian and Charlie, and Brian ended up estranged from his kid?

Paul, as usual, is more central.

After an escape to Brians office, Paul musters up the courage to ask Susie why shes really here.

Paul and Susie wont be around forever, and they shouldnt waste their time playing chicken.

It goes back to that core idea: Theres rarely just one wrong party when a relationship breaks down.

The quicker you accept that truth, the easier it is to see what really went wrong.
