(In the world of the show, at least.)
People are, in fact, unreliable.
We cant help it.
We want to trust that our friends havent been baldly lying to us for years.
And we want to believe that we can trust our parents, bosses, and law enforcement.
But were all still human, right?
Or they did it because maybe they truly believed thats what happened, whether it did or not.
Thats certainly what makesMissing Youso frustrating, particularly if youre onboard Team Kat.
Aqua is somehow so obsessed with Josh (or maybe Joshs safety?)
that she attacked some 19-year-old kid who even questioned his existence.
And Josh, of course, is alive.
Hes been living somewhere far, far off the grid with his dad and his daughter.
(Though, is that his dad?
Wouldnt Kat recognize him?
Maybe its the girls moms dad.)
Were supposed to believe someonedoeswant to find Josh that badly, though.
Maybe we are really just that wrapped up in our own shit.
If Debra has her way, hopefully she wont be one of them.
(Or, really, wait at all since its dumped on Netflix all at once.)
Can Kat trust her family or friends or Josh?
ever again, or is she destined to become one of Manchester PDs most vengeful loners.
Shes going to need a lot of therapy either way.
