The first Airwrap styler was introduced in 2018 and made a lot of noise.
The HS01 is outdated in terms of features.
Of course, that doesnt mean you cant use it or that your hair will turn out worse.
Its just that the first-generation Airwrap requires a little more effort and time.
However, dozens, if not hundreds, of different models are available worldwide.
The models vary primarily in two main features: color and the set of hair attachments.
There are basic models designed for most users and customized models tailored for specific hair types.
First generation Dyson Airwrap HS01
The real difference between the HS01 and HS05 lies in the attachments.
By the way, it was only for short hair.
It came with a bunch of attachments, including a regular one for simple drying.
There were even 4 attachments just for curling your hair.
And it came with a black case.
For the first generation, this was pretty cool.
Dyson Airwrap Complete (Nickel/Fuchsia)
The only thing that changed in this model is the color.
Now its pink with nickel material.
And the case turned a copper color.
Its an unusual combo and this box got super popular.
Its the same model but for long hair.
The only change is the length of the curling attachments.
The long barrel is 30% longer.
The new Coanda Smoothing Dryer attachment dries and smooths hair at the same time.
Dyson Airwrap Complete Long (Nickel/Copper)
This model is always available in stores.
Its priced at 600 bucks, same as the others.
Its the first styler with fewer attachments but more functionality.
The Dyson Airwrap Complete Long case is dark blue.
But Im willing to let it slide.
Otherwise, the price is the same: 600 bucks for the same attachments and case.
Starting with the design, its now a bright blue, not dark like before, with pink accents.
It looks unique and sold out quickly.
It was hard to find in most stores.
This styler model lets you pick your own attachments.
The box has turned a rich blue, just like the stylers body.
Special Dyson Airwrap Complete Long (Ceramic Pop)
This ones my favorite.
It came out at the end of 2023 and sold out super fast.
The case is rich turquoise, with the case lid being orange with a soft pink.
The styler itself is also in turquoise and orange shades, with a pink air filter.
Its price didnt go up; its still 600 bucks.
The attachments are the same.
They added a travel pouch.
Dyson called this styler orange, but it actually looks more red.
And the case is a pinkish-purple shade.
In my opinion, its the weakest design.
