On Friday, 35-year-old Ryan Koss pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of negligent driving with death resulting.
Accordingto CNN, a judge ruled that Kosss sentencing will be deferred for one year.
Koss collided with Williamss motorcycle in Dorset, Vermont in June.
Koss expressed his sincerest apologies and condolences to the actors family during the Friday hearing.
Williamss son, Gil, attended the hearing and addressed Koss directly.
Still, he added, I really wish you hadnt killed my father.
I really had to say that.
Williamss wife, Pam, was not present.
