Written by Mike Flanagan, the project is currently looking for a director.
Flanagan pitched the face flick last year but has gotten too booked up to direct it himself.

There have been eight Clayfaces in the comics, beginning in 1940.
Its unknown yet which Clayface origin story is being considered for this new iteration of the character.
Regardless, the film will need a leading man who can do bad acting really good.
