It can also denote a warning.
It can also be icy and dangerous.
InConstellation, both colors play a significant role in the world-building of the series.
This week, we learned that the wrong Jo landed in the wrong timeline.
As the ground starts to shift under her, we go along for the terrifying ride with her.
This is not her beautiful house; she is not the cheating wife.
And she doesnt play the piano.
She is not herself, she feels out of control, and she has no one to confide in.
This is why people dont see therapists!
By the end of the episode, Jo doesnt seem to be taking hers anymore, either.
But first, Jo heads to ESA to do some research on the matter.
Later, she dashes down a bright-orange staircase.
Yet he knows that something is going on.
Henry believes that, as the observer, he is being changed by the CAL experiment.
Hes the only one who can see the rings, after all.
Hes scribbling incoherent pictures that look like a childs drawing of an owl!
It seems like the universe doesnt want Bud to get caught for his misdeeds.
The package also has a tape of a female cosmonaut from November of 1967.
Could this be Irena?
And, if so, which Irena is it?
She scans the room and sees Pauls daughter, Wendy, but then she catches a glimpse of herself.
Shes at a funeral for her mom.
In the alternate reality, it seems as if Jo died and Paul survived.
Is it her emotional connection to her mom?
Alice screams her little head off, and Magnus tries to put her back to bed in the cupboard.
Eagle-eyed viewers might have clocked that weve seen this creepy dude before.
However, instead of an angel on the stretcher, theres this guy.
In the new painting that caps this episode, hes sitting in the cabin.
Presumably hes the devil?
This seems relevant as we hit the halfway point in the series.
(Thanks, closed captioning!)
This might be more evidence that Bud and Henry arent actually what they initially appeared to be.
Frederic remains the absolute worst, but I do wonder how much he really knows.
Hes been to space, right?
So maybe hes seen things too.
Jo gets a standing ovation at the ESA, which is honestly long overdue and much deserved.
We all saw what that woman did to get home!
Shes a bona fide hero!
